3rd Annual Candy Buy Back Event a Great Success
Last year Dr. Weaver’s candy buy back event was a great success for the third year in a row! Over 400 pounds of candy was collected from patients and members of the community and sent to our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. Dr. Weaver bought the candy for one dollar a pound, and then matched the money dollar for dollar. The proceeds were donated to the local charities of the Exchange Club. In 2009 we will be supporting Habitat for Humanity. Bring your candy to the office after Halloween for the weigh in.
GA/ Florida Tailgate enjoys a huge turnout
Weaver Orthodontics hosted its traditional GA/Fl Tailgate Party on October 30, 2008. In anticipation of the big game, local dentists and their staff joined the Weaver Orthodontics crew for hotdogs, chili and more. There was Larry Munson on the radio, raffles every half hour and even dancing this year to “fire up the dawgs”! It was a packed crowd and tons of fun for the dental community.
Day at the Movies Returns with Prince Caspian
Dr. Weaver and his staff celebrated the 2nd annual patient appreciation party on May 17, 2008. The Glynn Place Mall Theater filled with over 600 patients, family and friends for a private showing of Prince Caspian.
Everyone enjoyed the free movie, popcorn and drinks to kick off the summer. Two lucky winners also received passes to SummerWaves Water Park on Jekyll Island.
