Meet Dr. Romero
Hello there! I'm Dr. Yanisis Romero, and I am so thrilled to welcome you!
My journey begins in the lively and beautiful city of Caracas, Venezuela. I brought that warmth with me when I moved to the United States in 1999. I built my education step by step with passion: first studying Biology and Chemistry at FIU, then achieving my dream at the University of Florida Dental School in 2016. My love for specialty care took me to Jacksonville University, where I completed my orthodontic training in October 2018—a career path inspired by my own family of medical specialists.
A fun new chapter just started, as I recently relocated from Navarre, FL! I am absolutely loving my new home and cannot wait to become part of this wonderful community.
My life outside the office is full of joy and movement! I am an avid ballroom dancer, a huge sports fan, and I love my time at the gym. My heart also belongs to my furry best friend, my American Bulldog named Kilo. He is the biggest, sweetest buddy!
For me, orthodontics is about so much more than teeth—it's about building trusting relationships and creating smiles that light up a room. I pour my heart into every patient, because you deserve care that feels supportive, personal, and full of positive energy.
